1. What are some of the previous research projects you have done?
In the past I have done a few research projects. In 6th grade I did a project on Babe Ruth, in 7th grade I did a project on The Impacts of the French in Louisiana, and in 8th grade I researched steroid use in baseball for speech class.
2. Based on these projects, what does research mean to you?
Normally it means a bunch of work for nothing. The teachers give us all these rules that are suposed to help us and they never do, all the rules do is give us much more work for no reason.
3. Describe one of your research successes or failures. Why was the experience positive or negative?
The last project I had to do research for was speech. I gave a speech on Steroid policys in Major Leauge Baseball. This at the time was very publicized event so there was a lot of information about it. This was a positive expierence. This projet was good beacause there was enough easily accessible information. Why I Chose This Topic and What I Know About My Topic
1. Topic: I chose to do Greek archecture and its influences today
2. Why you chose it: I like archecture and I think the Greeks were one of the most influentual groups of people of all time
3. What you already know about your topic: Their are many things left behind by the Greeks art and archecture are among their most important. The Greeks built on archecture of other civilazations and created some forms all their own. Teacher Response 3-16-07

1. Describe how the pre-notetaking sheet helped you find both focus for your topic and research questions to investigate. Did you find it easy or difficult to create a fat question from your ideas?
The sheet helped me find the direction of my project. Before I was unsure of exactly where I wanted to go from my origonal topic, now I do. Most of my questions could be answered both ways, I thought it was easy to think of the questions. Teacher Response 3-21-07

1. What have I learned today?
I learned how to use the databasses easier, before I had never used them this time they actualy helped me. I found 2 really good articles and one more that is pretty good.
2. What problems have I had?
I didn't have any everything went well.
3. How will I overcome the problem(s)?
I didnt have any prombles so it wont be hard to overcome them
4. What will I do next?

I learned about the many contributions of the Greeks to the modern world. They gave us formulas for what is visually appealing to the human eye
2. What problems have I had?
In the beginning I had problems finding a good article but then I found some really good ones. I had to deselst a search option on one of the databases.
3. How will I overcome the problem(s)?
I Already did everythign is good now.
4. What will I do next?
I still need to take better notes on the pages I found. Right now I have a lot of good information but none of it is paraphraized. Teacher Response 3-21-07

I thought I had put in the wrong website for my noodle bib but I really didnt

I already did I found out they were the right websites they were just really long URL's
4. What will I do next?
